We are a growing firm and are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Manager / Senior Manager and Staff Accountant.

MANAGER / SENIOR MANAGER:

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform detail file reviews of audit, review and compilation engagements prepared by other staff members
  • Provide training and advice to other staff members
  • Plan and lead audit engagements under various reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors
  • Lead review engagements on large groups of corporate clients focusing on complex and/or specialized issues
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client management and staff

Qualifications and required skills:

  • Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant designation
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience in an accounting firm
  • Extensive knowledge of Canadian accounting and assurance standards
  • High degree of professionalism with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and computer)
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Work effectively in a team environment and ability to work with minimal supervision

STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of review engagements with complete note disclosure and preparation of notice to reader engagements
  • Perform audit engagements as a team member or audit senior across different industries and sectors
  • Preparation of corporate income tax returns and personal income tax returns
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client management and staff

Qualifications and required skills:

  • High degree of professionalism with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and computer)
  • Strong customer service skills and exceptional relationship management abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Work effectively in a team environment and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
  • You are committed to pursuing the CPA designation
  • You have completed or are about to complete your post-secondary degree
